Living Room Ideas
I"ve been meaning to decorate my living room for some time now, I'm just not good at home decor AT ALL. I kind of throw things together meaning to change it later and late never comes. This picture is pretty close to how I want my living room to look, I have the same blue on my walls with white trim. I don't have a fireplace but a TV in the middle and I love the white book cases.
I saw this couch on Ikea's Website, and they also have love seats, chairs, and chaises. I've got a bonus coming up in March and I'd like to get a few things to actually make my house feel like a home.
Until then I'm going to take my friend's advice and focus on just a small section of my living room at a time to keep from feeling overwhelmed. To start I think I'm going to work on my corner shelf. It's dark brown but I'm thinking about sanding it and painting it white, then arranging some picture frames and other cute things on it. We'll see how it goes, I'm definitely not the "home improvement" type. I've been meaning to replace the fake tile walls in my master bath shower for a while now, I'm dreading it but it needs to be done. Maybe if I repaint the shelf (since it's making something pretty) it won't make the shower project seem to tough.
